The Honda F4i introduced many of the modern technologies that are considered industry standard now.  The aluminum twin-spar frame, electronic fuel-injection, and sport riding position identify it as being aimed primarily at the performance minded audience.  EFI has produced a 5% increase in horsepower resulting in a smooth, powerful throttle response with especially strong midrange torque.  The new aluminum twin-spar frame is not only lighter than previous steel versions, but also stiffer, allowing for improved handling reponse under acceleration and direction changes.  The F4i benefits from lightened wheels and brakes, which produces significantly faster acceleration and braking performance while riding.  Acceleration is also aided by a shortened gear range on the F4i, as it continues to pull hardest from 6,000 to 10,000 rpm.  With all the modern technologies packed into the F4i, Honda has not forgotten rider comfort all together.  The F4i offers above average comfort for a sport bike due to the adjustable front and rear suspension, and a riding position that is not overly aggressive for street riding.  Along with the performance, the Honda name assures the F4i’s reliability is top notch.
