The 2025 Ducati Panigale V2 is Ducatiβs redesigned middleweight superbike, built around a new 890cc 90-degree V-twin engine instead of the older 955cc Superquadro. It makes 120 hp at 10,750 rpm and 69 lb-ft of torque at 8,250 rpm, giving it less peak horsepower than the previous Panigale V2 but with a lighter, more modern platform and better balance for street and track use. Ducati positioned it as a more approachable Panigale: still aggressive, sharp, and premium, but not as extreme as the Panigale V4.
The biggest story with the 2025 Panigale V2 is weight reduction and handling. Ducati says the V2Β version has a dry weight of 395 lb, making it the lightest Panigale Ducati has produced, and the bike is built around an aluminum monocoque frame with modern electronics, ride-by-wire throttle, quickshifter, and high-end braking/suspension equipment depending on trim. Overall, it is a lighter, cleaner, more rider-friendly evolution of the Panigale V2 concept: less brute power than before, but better agility, easier control, and a more refined feel.
