Shopping for a used motorcycle in Los Angeles? AK Motors delivers inspected, road-tested bikes from our El Cajon showroom to LA, or you can drive down and pick up. Our prices are firm and no-haggle, with no prep, reconditioning or freight charges.
Delivery or pickup
- Delivery: we arrange shipping with our partner shipping company and send you a written out-the-door price that includes it.
- Pickup: finish financing and paperwork remotely, then drive to 1244 Greenfield Dr, El Cajon.
How buying remotely works

- We message you the out-the-door price, including shipping.
- We send high-quality photos and videos of the bike that show any damage or imperfections.
- You pay by Venmo, Zelle, bank transfer, wire, or cashier’s check.
- If you want, we set up shipping with the shipping company we partner with, and they keep you updated on your bike’s status.
- We mail you the DMV paperwork. You sign it and mail it back, and we mail you the completed DMV packet.

- Send the information the bank needs (we’ll tell you exactly what’s required).
- We send you the down payment and monthly payment amounts for the bikes you like.
- You pick a bike and a financing plan, and we send photos and videos of that bike.
- We set up shipping if you want it, email you the DMV paperwork to sign, and register the motorcycle for you.
We accept cash, credit card, debit card, Venmo, Zelle, Cash App, bank transfer, wire, cashier’s check, and financing. For California buyers, we register the bike in California. Registration and title paperwork usually takes about 30 to 60 days

Every bike is
inspected and road-tested
Every motorcycle goes through our full safety inspection and a 10-mile road test before it goes home with you. We check the controls, electrical system and battery (including a charging-system test at 5,000 rpm), the engine and fluids, brakes, tires and chain, suspension and hardware. Our motorcycles are sold as-is. On many bikes we offer an optional 2-year, unlimited-mile extended warranty. Ask about coverage for the bike you want.
Financing
for all credit types
We work with many lenders that cover all credit types, including bad credit or no credit. There’s no minimum down payment, and $0 down is possible depending on approval. Apply online and finish the paperwork by email.
Straight pricing
Our prices are firm and no-haggle. You pay the listed price, a $70 documentation fee, and California sales tax and registration, plus shipping if you choose delivery. We handle the registration and title paperwork for the bikes we sell. For California buyers we register the bike in California. It usually takes about 30 to 60 days.
Can I return a bike after delivery?
No. All sales are final and there is no cooling-off period. Before you buy, we send detailed photos and video showing any damage or imperfection
Can I pick the bike up instead of having it delivered?
Yes. Some customers finish the financing and paperwork remotely, then drive in to pick up. Our showroom is at 1244 Greenfield Dr, El Cajon, CA 92021. Call or text 619-550-4419 to set it up.
Can I test ride before I commit?
Yes, with one rule. You buy the bike in full first, then you have 1 hour to ride it. If you bring it back within that hour with no damage, we reverse the purchase and refund everything, including the $70 doc fee and any tax collected. This works best if you pick up at our El Cajon showroom.
